Today, HOTREC officially launched an online platform for start-up companies, which are offering their services to hospitality businesses in different fields of operation, like marketing, robotics, human resources. This platform shall allow to facilitate bringing together supply (start-up companies offering services to hospitality businesses) and demand (hospitality businesses looking for ideas and partners to solve their challenges). Start-up companies may indicate their location and territory of activity upon registration, thus allowing hospitality businesses to easily find their business solutions in their proximity.

Biedrība "Latvijas Viesnīcu un restorānu asociācija" ir sadarbības partneris Latvijas darba devēju konfederācijai un īsteno Eiropas Sociālā fonda projektu “Sociālā dialoga attīstība labāka tiesiskā regulējuma izstrādē uzņēmējdarbības atbalsta jomā” (Nr. 3.4.2.2/16/I/001).

 

Projekta mērķis ir nodrošināt divpusējā nozaru sociālā dialoga attīstību labāka tiesiska regulējuma izstrādē  uzņēmējdarbības vides sakārtošanas veicināšanai prioritāri piecās nozarēs – kokrūpniecībā, ķīmiskajā rūpniecībā un tās saskarnozarēs, būvniecībā, transportā un loģistikā, telekomunikācijās un sakaros.

 

Pasākuma mērķa grupa ir organizācijas, kas nodrošina darba devēju un darba ņēmēju interešu pārstāvniecību nozaru sociālā dialoga stiprināšanā, un nozarēs nodarbinātie.

Projekts tiek īstenots sadarbībā ar darba devēju organizācijām.

Īstenošanas termiņš 2017.gada 25.maijs - 2021.gada 30.jūnijs.

 

Finansējums - Darbību īstenošanai kopējais attiecināmais  finansējums ir 703 361,00  euro, tai skaitā Eiropas Sociālā fonda finansējums – 85% apmērā un 15 % valsts budžeta finansējums.

HOTREC welcomes the improvements, voted today in the European Parliament and in the Council of Ministers on 29 November, to the Commission’s Regulation proposal on platform to business relations. HOTREC hopes for a smooth compromise on some open points and for the soon adoption of the Regulation, which will bring more fairness and transparency for European hospitality and other businesses into their relations with the often dominant online platforms.

Krakow, 18 October 2018 – On the occasion of its 77th General Assembly, HOTREC, the umbrella association of Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés in Europe, elected the members of its Sector Social Dialogue Committee (SSD) for a mandate of two years, starting 1 January 2019, and put forward its main priorities.

Jean-Marc Banquet d’ Orx was re-elected as Chair of the SSD Committee. He is a member of the SSD since 2009. Mr. Banquet d’ Orx is the founder and chairman of the LONGITUDE HOTELS Group and holds the position of General Treasurer of UMIH National since 2008. Santa Graikste (Latvia);  Emilie Struck Westersø (Denmark); Dave Dankaerts (Belgium); Angelo Giuseppe Candido (Italy); Paul Schoormans (Netherlands) are the other elected SSD members.

Krakow, HOTREC 77th General Assembly, 18 October 2018 – HOTREC, the umbrella association of Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés in Europe, elected today its new President and Executive Committee (ExCom) for a two years mandate, starting on 1 January 2019.

The goal of the newly elected ExCom will be to foster innovation and to promote investment among the 1.9 million enterprises of the sector, promoting smarter and better regulation at the core of the new EU mandate. 2019 will be marked by European elections and a renewal of the European Parliament and Commission. It will be our task to convince policy-makers to make the 2019-2024 EU legislature a success for tourism by unlocking SMEs and microenterprises’ growth potential and by fostering entrepreneurship” commented Mr. Zimmer Christensen.
